KWESST concludes definitive agreement to acquire electronic decoy technology

KWESST today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the electronic decoy technology from SageGuild, further to the binding Letter of Intent announced May 20 2020. 

CEO of KWESST Jeff Macleod stated that, “This electronic decoy technology is unique and confers a distinct advantage to the warfighter.  It is a direct fit with KWESST’s mission to bring to market bold innovations in defense and security, and it positions the company in the growing market for expedient and compact tactical electromagnetic deception to protect forces in theaters of conflict.”   

With the acquisition of this electronic decoy system, KWESST intends to advance the technology to a next-generation version fully integrated with the company’s TASCS system for even greater mission capability.  The company expects to have this next-generation version ready for customer test and evaluation by late 2020, with expectations of first procurements commencing in 2021.
