• Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Similar
• Experience in designing and developing in Java
• Experience in designing and developing in C, C++
• Familiar with AGILE development processes
• Good understanding of physics and math for applying to software development.
• Experience with Android app development .
• Experience with JNI development.
• System/System Integration testing experience.
• Software quality control experience.
• Documentation, presentation skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor field situations.
• To have or the ability to obtain a Canadian Security Clearance
• Hold Canadian Citizenship
 
• Desirable qualifications
• Development of Automatic Software System Testing
• Experience developing Android apps that interface to USB devices.
• Experience developing Android apps with cameras and video streaming.
• Experience developing military systems or apps.
• Experience developing with Computer Vision.
• Experience developing UAV/Drone control systems.
• Experience developing Command and Control applications/systems.
Electrical Engineer

• Essential qualifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Similar
• Analog Design, (Power Supplies, RF, Amplifiers, etc.).
• Digital Design, (FPGA, microprocessors, high speed analysis, etc.).
• PCB Design.
• Understanding of Sensors (Inertial, Navigation, Shock, Optical, etc)
• Understanding of Antenna Placement
• Interfaces, (USB, Blue Tooth, Wifi, etc.).
• Use of Electronic Design tools, (such as Mentor, Cadence).
• Design for Production (Transition Prototype Systems to Production)
• Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management, (PLM).
• Familiar with and using the following lab equipment:
• Soldiering, Oscilloscope, Signal Analysers, Multimeters, etc
• Assembly and Testing of Prototype Systems
• Documentation, presentation skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor field situations.
• To have or the ability to obtain a Canadian Security Clearance
• Hold Canadian Citizenship
 
• Desirable qualifications
• 3D Printer usage in Prototype Development.
• Assembly/Component Design.
• Soldering Skills (Soldiering and De-Soldering)
• Component transition to production molds, (i.e. draft angles, shrinkage, etc.).
• Use of Mechanical Design tools, (such as Inventor).
