KWESST signs formal Teaming Agreement with AeroVironment Inc.

KWESST today announced that it has concluded a formal Teaming Agreement with AeroVironment Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) to pursue U.S. government opportunities for the Augmented Weapons Sight (AWS) version of KWESST’s TASCS Indirect Fire Module (IFM).

AeroVironment is a leading provider of tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or “drones”) to the U.S. military. The TASCS IFM AWS system enables ground forces and their indirect weapons systems such as grenade launchers and mortars to receive visual situational awareness in real time from loitering drones for coordinated targeting and ground fire onto enemy positions in a first-ever achievement.
